Jonathan Higgs of Airsoftology continues his "Truth About Bio BBs" and for part 2 it is about the High Power Airsoft and Elite Force Bio BBs. It is a question that many airsoft players and retailers ask if these claimed biodegradable BBs which are produced to be environment friendly are what their manufacturers claim to be. Some of the BB providers published tests conducted by government agencies or third party testers authorised by regulators.
Haha! Now this topic is something that can be discussed whilst having drinks with your airsoft mates and you run out of airsoft stuff to talk about. Airsoftology's Q&A Mondays series has for its topic the dumbest things seen on an airsoft field. If you have seen one or some, feel free to share.

Good question. But if you really want Milsim, we always suggest following the allowable age for young people to be drafted or volunteer to serve in the military in the country where it is being organised. This usually means minors are not allowed to participate. Airsoftology talks about this and other topics such as burst-fire and sidearms for airsoft medics.

What does Jonathan Higgs of Airsoftology think of the licensed Umarex Glock 19X Gas Blowback Pistol? Here's a video review of the product. OEM by VFC, this GBB pistol is faithfully produced to the exact external specifications of the real world gun. This has adjustable hop-up, rail, and is available in tan colour.
The (not so) favourite topic of airsoft players, players not calling their hits which can sometimes lead to heated arguments. There will be reasons, some valid enough, and some is really outright cheating. Airsoftology's Jonathan Higgs tackles this subject and more in this Q&A Mondays episode.

These should alarm airsoft players who own the programmable Baofeng handheld radios to use for communications in airsoft and milsim events. But did the FCC really ban Baofeng radios in the U.S.? It looks like its all about the FCCC part 90 certification for Private Land Mobile Radio Service and that Baofeng needs to its have its radios comply and operate in 145-155 MHz and 400-520 Mhz bands to avoid being in violation. Airsoftology talks about this and about bullpups in this Q&A Mondays episode.

Do you agree that airsoft fields limit your ammo? It depends as we there are game scenarios in which your are limited to the number of BBs or rounds that you can expend in a game, or how many magazines you can use. There are even game fields that insist only on biodegradable BBs to be environment friendly. Watch Airsoftology talk about this and other topics in this Q&A Mondays episode.

Jonathan Higgs covers the proposed legislation in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that may just make it illegal to sell airsoft guns in the state, HB.2040. If it becomes a law, even the use of airsoft guns at game sites will be illegal too. This and other topics in this Airsoftology Q&A Mondays episode.

For this 21-minute video, Jonathan Higgs of Airsoftology just has one topic to focus on, Bio BBs and this is just the first part. Airsoft grapples with being environment friendly and Bio BBs are the answer. Now, the question is, are they really biodegradable? Or are they just marketing gimmicks?
