We received news from Echo 1 USA Airsoft that the M14 RIS has now arrived in the USA. US-based airsoft players can now check with their favourite retailers if their pre-orders are ready to ship. "The M14 rifle design is based off the very successful M1 Garand which was used in WWII. Even with the success of the M1 Garand, it had it's flaws, thus the M14 was born. Using the 7.62 (.308) round, and the ability of automatic fire, the M14 was a champion design. Used primarily in the Vietnam war.
Action Hobbys UK is now also taking pre-orders for the KART M14 EBR... "Well what can I say, the Kart M66 is a really nice bit of kit, details as a bit cagey at present but basically it is a Kart M14 with an EBR kit fitted, should come with all the little extras as with all our guns but as far as we know it does not come with battery or charger, however if it does not come with them we will for a small charge extra put a deal together.
Landwarrior Airsoft is now taking pre-orders for the KART M14 EBR... "Kart are our new best friends! Not only content with being the first to bring out an excellent M14 Socom they now blow everyone else out of the water with the Mk 14 EBR! This gives the G&P kit a fair run for it's money. Essentially copying everything except the heartache of building it! The EBR is an updated M14.
Evike.com just posted that they are now accepting pre-orders for the Echo 1 USA M14 RIS, which is the same as the M14 Enhanced Battle Rifle (EBR) that is now getting to be more popular, even under its heavy weight. It looks very similar to the KART M14 EBR according to some players who have held both, and some forums seem to confirm that it is actually a rebranded KART M14 EBR. Evike.com has priced this at US$220.00, with the usual warrantees that come from US airsoft retailers.
It's definitely confirmed. The Kalash RK-01 said to be a DBoys AK74SU version as reported by Airsoft-News.eu, is really what they said it to be, a rebranded DBoys AK product. RSOV.com has now made available the Kalash RK-01, together with its CYMA counterpart, the CM035. Also available at RSOV.com is the KART M14 EBR which is selling like hotcakes, even with its hefty weight of 6 Kilograms.
For all those who have been stymied by the fact that M14 EBR kits are expensive, and fully-completed M14 EBR airsoft replicas are even more expensive, you now have time to rejoice (join me praising the high heavens!). Gunner Airsoft now has the KART M14 EBR in stock, and they're down to less than 16 items for international orders. This looks very similar to the ECHO 1 USA M14 Full Metal RIS, only about US$100.00 cheaper.
Airsoft GI is accepting pre-orders for the Echo 1 Full Metal M14 RIS, another Mk 14 Mod 0 EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle) that is available mainly from higher end airsoft manufacturers or as a kit to build your M14 with. The pictures shown at the Airsoft GI sport a black colour, and we don't know if it will be available in OD and Dark Earth colours.
There has been news circulating around airsoft forums and news sites that the KART M-14 EBR is a hoax. However, the opposite is true. RSOV.com is now taking pre-orders for the KART M-14 EBR together with the A&K M249 MK.I, A&K M249 MK.II, A&K M249 para, and the A.C.M. Japanese Type 89. Airsoftnews.eu has posted the photo of the M-14 EBR previously, but was not confirmed. You can view the image at the Airsoft.eu site.
