Tokyo Marui will release next month the Stainless Hicapa 5.1. This shoots and amazing number of bbs, especially when you buy the 50 round magazine (price to be announced). With the good kick that comes with the Hi-capa series so preferred by many airsoft players, the 5.1 has been the favourite model for airsoft practical shooters. Priced at JPY14,800 (US$157), tax not included yet.

The Tokyo Marui FN 57 just barely got out the door and PDI-Japan now has its .01 barrel ready for it. Always a welcome thing, given the quality of PDI products. Produced with an inner diameter of 6.01mm with ultraprecision, the processing technology is a special formula with cold forgin. The inner barrel, especially with the .01 precision barrel from PDI, should be used only with high-quality BBs as some BBs won't be able to get through with these, even if these are 6mm.

Tokyo Marui just released their Desert Eagle .50 10in barrel gas blowback last 29 June. This is still the hardkick blowback which will surely put a strain on your wrist whenever it fires, speaking from experience. It costs around USD176 in Japan, so should be a little bit higher than that when this hits your shores. But this monster pistol surely packs a whallop, specially when you get a high capacity magazine for it. Good for those who prefer using the big `uns.

Surely ACM manufacturers will move fast to copy any innovation from other airsoft manufacturers. The latest to be copied is now the TM Xtreme Hi-Capa full auto gas blowback pistol which is really a fast shooting one. The copy is available at Gunner Airsoft and available for US$55.00 and this will fit existing TM Hi-capa mags being an exact copy. Just hope then when firing it the slide doesn't fly out due to the extreme blowback action.
