Vega Force Company (VFC) has posted a posted about its upcoming gas blowback rifle, the SCAR Light Gen IV Gas Blowback. No further details have been mentioned regarding this rifle, and we wonder if its gas blowback system is built in-house or licenced from WE which just came out with its SCAR-L GBB. Nevertheless, more variety for gas blowback rifles inn the market is always welcome. To be released at an unspecified date this August, pricing also not mentioned.

Evike.com is now taking pre-orders for the Wei-Tech (WE) SCAR-L Gas Blowback Rifle for US$260. This does take in the existing WE M4 GBB mags, so no need to worry about buying another set of magazines, if you do already have the WE M4 GBB mags. It is available in black and tan colours, and a CO2 version is also available for those who prefer this type of power. At least, we now get another GBBR variant. Multicam addicts can get the tan colour which they always prefer to go with their loadouts.

Airsoft GI is expecting this to arrive on the 20th of March, so if you want to be first to have this, better place your pre-order... Airsoft Buddy sent us news over the weekend with WE's follow up GBB rifle in the form of a SCAR. Photos included here... Vega Force Company is set to release a Support Sniper Rifle (SSR) version of the SCAR Heavy AEG, perhaps together with their stand alone launcher and EGLM version for the SCAR series. Not much details yest on the sniper version, except that it is based on the VFC SCAR H alright. Though gauging by the photo that it will come with a longer barrel, a silencer, and perhaps a sniper scope as large as that in the photo. But we're just speculating.

Kitty of WGCShop  sent us a heads up on the VFC SCAR Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module (EGLM) for the VFC SCAR series (L and H). It has a sliding barrel for better loading, and rifle grooves to properly grip it in place of a foregrip. No idea if this is an exact copy of the EGLM made by STAR, but something for SCAR fans out there to consider. No news yet if VFC is going to release a stand-alone module.
