Last 4th of May 2025, which was Star Wars Day, Micah Mayfield gets time at the range with the CMMG .22LR Han Solo's DL-44 and a homemade, single-shot 9mm space blaster from Dark Mountain Arms. Both are humorously equipped with impractical 2x pistol scopes. They conducted range tests, encountering malfunctions with the .22 LR and difficulty using the scopes, and briefly discusses the DL-44's lore in the Star Wars universe.

WE Airsoft posted photos of their WE Blaster Gun, which is based on the BlasTech Industries DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol more popularly known as Han Solo's Blaster. The Star Wars DL-44 Blaster prop was based on a modified C96 Mauser Broomhandle, and there is already an airsoft version of the C96 so it's just a matter time someone mods the airsoft version into the DL-44.
