Hyperdouraku goes back in time to pick up an AEG made by G&P, the M16A1 AEG. Whilst this is not the first M16A1 AEG, with the honour going to Tokyo Marui in the early 1990s, this is an affordable AEG which can be ordered for less than US$200 at some stores in Hong Kong. This is the iconic M16 that saw much action during the Vietnam War though the G&P version shows a newer flash hider as the original one uses the three-pronged one.

Oldie but goodie. Mach Sakai reviews one of the older AEGs in the Tokyo Marui airsoft armoury --- the Tokyo Marui M16A1 Vietnam AEG. A full 1:1 scale replica of thre original, this comes with a 190round magazine with a moveable charging handle. You can use a 2 or 3-point tactical sling to carry this and you can use a higher capacity magazine which you can put inside the buttstock.

Latest video demo from RA-Tech conducting ballistic tests with the KSC M4A1 and WE M16A1 gas blowback rifles in an indoor environment at a range of 30 metres in their original conditions. It seems that the WE M16 has better groupings than the KSC M4A1, but then, it has a longer barrel. It would be nice if they compare these against versions that use the RA-Tech upgrade parts.
