Soldier I sends in the news on the upcoming observance of the Battle of Mirbat. where Peter Winner together with 8 SAS members were sent by the British to assist the government of Oman, fought against communist guerillas from Southern Yemen. On 19th July 1972, in the small coastal town of Mirbat, Oman, Pete Winner and his eight comrades were attacked by an aggressive, highly organised and determined enemy force which outnumbered them 30 to 1.
