Explosive Enterprises recently conducted a small experiment to replicate the classic ITLBV vest, also known as the LBV-88, using modern gear. The setup combined a Crossfire DZ-Rig, a Spiritus 34A reproduction, and a True North MHA with a Safariland QLS plate and MOLLE adapter. For pouches, the experimenters used a Crossfire Butterbar pouch, a CSM Gear dump pouch, an HSGI Taco gen 2, and three Nixieworks triple 5.56 mag pouches with their buckles removed.
