Tokyo Marui Reveals P-90+ Ver.LLENN, Hi-Capa D.O.R. R, & BB-Auto Loader At The 62nd All Japan Model & Hobby Show

With the ongoing 62nd All Japan Model & Hobby Show this weekend. Many are expecting new products to be revealed by Tokyo Marui at this big trade event. The new products are expansion of the Plus AEG series as well as another member of the R series, designed to meet the Japanese Youth Development Ordinance to have a maximum energy of 0.135J.
THE NEW PRODUCTS
P-90+ Ver.LLENN AEG
The second P-90 Ver.LLENN AEG, the P-90+ Ver.LLENN from the AEG plus series is a replica of the gun used by the main character in the anime "Sword Art Online Alternative GUN GALE ONLINE II." This custom base is compatible with Tokyo Marui's MS-Li-Po and NiMH batteries. The gun will come in special packaging with illustrations and is not a limited production item. A magazine with an increased number of rounds will also be available for purchase separately. The price and on-sale date have yet to be determined, and the target age is over 18 years old.



Hi-CAPA D.O.R. R Gas Blowback Pistol
The Hi-CAPA D.O.R. R-series gas blowback pistol is a replica of the Hi-CAPA D.O.R. and designed for ages 14 and up to comply with the Japanese Youth Development Ordinance and it is the second gas blowback pistol in the R series. It features the same specifications as the original, except for a reduced firing power of 0.135 J and the omission of an under rail for expansion. The price and release date are yet to be announced.



BB Auto Loader
This automatic BB ammunition feeder is designed to streamline the reloading process for airsoft players. Compatible with Tokyo Marui magazines (but cannot be used with some magazines which they have not mentioned), it can also be used with gas blowback machine gun series magazines using a provided adapter. A carrying handle, which doubles as an adapter for AEPs and Gas Blowback Pistols, prevents accidental operation and BB rounds from scattering. Powered by three AA alkaline batteries, this BB loading device offers a more efficient way of topping up airsoft magazines. Please note that the prototype on display may have slight variations in appearance.
The price and release date are yet to be announced.









OTHER PRODUCTS AND AUDIENCE EXPERIENCE ON DISPLAY
AK47R AEG
The Tokyo Marui AK47R AEG, which was first revealed during the 2024 Shizuoka Hobby Show remains in development and pricing still to be decided upon. Just like the recently released M4A1R, its 67-round follower-type magazine can feed the AEG until the last BB.


G36C Plus AEG
Already released in the market is G36C Plus, is one of the first three in the Plus AEG series and will be joined by the P90 Plus Ver.Llenn AEG, is also on display. The G36C Plus, a customized close-quarters combat AEG based on the G36C series, is now available. This model features a PLUS system (FET circuit) that enhances safety and trigger response during semi-automatic firing. The G36C Plus is equipped with a FET switch, which reduces current loss and improves trigger response. The PLUS system also includes a microcontroller unit that monitors and controls the FET, battery, and motor, ensuring safe operation. Other features include a black finish, KAC type rail and front/rear sights, cheek pieces, and compatibility with various muzzle options. The magazine holds 50 rounds and can be connected to other magazines. It can use the MS Li-Po Battery for power and the Finest BB for ammunition.




SAA.45 Cavalry 7 1/2 Inch Custom
Set to be released this month is the SAA.45 Cavalry 7 1/2 inch Custom airsoft revolver. This air-cocking replica of the SAA.45, dubbed "Cavalry," is a custom model with a brass-coloured trigger guard and grip frame, a woodgrain painted grip, and a silver hammer. Requiring manual preparation for each shot, users operate the hammer to cock the gun before pulling the trigger to fire the BB bullet. The metal internal frame ensures rigidity and prevents distortion during cocking, while the variable hop-up system allows for adjustable BB bullet flight paths. The replica includes six cartridges, each holding one BB bullet, and a safety feature to prevent accidental firing.





Survival Game Gallery & Photo Booth
Tokyo Marui’s Survival Game Gallery featured a dedicated introductory section to airsoft, showcasing their proactive approach to engaging novice enthusiasts. The gallery incorporated illustrative materials by manga artist Fredy Sakazaki, designed to appeal to newcomers, photos of airsoft players from SG-Fashion Snap, airsoft guns, and publications.







Meanwhile, a photo booth provided visitors with the opportunity to capture commemorative images with an airsoft gun in a stylish setting.

Shooting Range
A poster of Rambo greets visitors who want to try shooting an airsoft gun at the Shooting Range. Available to try is the G36C Plus and for quick loading of the magazines, the new BB Auto Loader is used.





TOKYO MARUI FESTIVAL 2024
The final event for Tokyo Marui for the year is their very own Tokyo Marui Festival. For the 2024 edition, it will be on the 9th to 10th of November. The event is free entrance to customers and curious onlookers as based on previous years and will probably be held again at the Bellesalle Akihabara near Akihabara Station in Tokyo.
