Just like clothing, the handguns made for men is not exactly designed that can be comfortable for women to grip. Over the years, there are handguns made for use by women, super compact and can even fit their pursers. The new PDP F-Series from Walther is the latest one --- specifically designed for their hands whilst maintaining the dependability of the Walther PDP 9mm pistol.
Walther reengineered the PDP for the F-Series for women’s hands as well as for those with smaller hands. This reengineering also resulted into reduced trigger reach, reduced grip circumference, and reduced force necessary to operate the slide.
Of course, what would be a new pistol these days if it is not optics ready? The PDP F-Seres is optics ready and it comes with a free optic plate and a cover plate if one wants to maintain the standard look.
The F-Series is available in two models – the 3.5” and 4” models both are priced at US$699.00 and come with two 15-round magazines as default. 10-round magazines are available as well.
The videos below featuring the female members of the Walther Shooting Team, Gabby Franco, Tatiana Whitlock and Michelle Waldran explain the features of the PDP-Series as well as the round table talk by these shooters on the pistol overall.

Whether you are female shooter or a shooter with smaller hands, the F-Series can be a good option. Hopefully such ergonomics can also be translated into airsoft versions for female airsofters.
