With the release of the Tokyo Marui G19 Gen5 MOS GBB Pistol last week, Hyperdouraku, as expected, released one of the first reviews. This version features a smoother grip and a flared magazine well for steady reloads. It includes an optics-ready slide and an orange magazine follower to signal when it is empty. While the manual safety is a bit stubborn and requires some effort to move, the compact frame provides a comfortable fit for various hand sizes.

Despite the cold weather, the pistol cycles with a snappy rhythm and a predictable trigger. The shorter slide allows for quick movement, even if it brings the iron sights closer together. Adding a red dot sight settles any aiming concerns, making this update a functional choice for those who prefer a smaller sidearm.
