Army "L85A2-ish" EBB At Airsoft World

OptimusPrime

The Army Armament L85A2 EBB is now in stock Airsoft World and you can order it for £194.95... "Why the '-ish'? Well, Army Armament intended this to be a 100% replica of the L85A2, it is, almost. the only noticeable part out of place is they 'forgot' to replace their original A1 cocking lever handle with the new A2 teardrop styled unit. Not to worry though..... we have requested that they remedy this oversight and Army have obliged. We should have the new lever handles by the end of January 2016. They will be sending us replacement lever handles for the current batch we have now, so we will post one out to every customer who has already bought this rifle as soon as they arrive.

So what's new with this version? A better gearbox for starters! They have replaced the notorious AA piston with a steel toothed gear track which also has a stronger and more reliable electric blowback system - their words, we honestly can't tell the difference but it's a long time since we've worked on one of the originals.

The biggest change is the addition of the foregrip rail system which is on 99% of all the current armed forces issue L85's. At this price it is not going to be CNC machined but is a cast product and if you consider the cost of a WE manufactured rail system on its own......this rifle is costing about £50!!."
