"After their defeat at Delta 14, Imperial troops have been fighting a stubborn rearguard action, slowing the rebel advance whenever and wherever they can. At the same time, Rebel troops have begun reinforcing their positions at Delta 14 so that they can quickly move supplies up to the front lines and continue pushing Imperial troops out of the former state of Texas.

In order to stave off further losses, Imperial High command has ordered a crack unit of Elite Guard to parachute into Delta 14, infiltrate the base and destroy as much infrastructure as possible in order to prevent Rebel troops from using those resources to continue their advance into Imperial territory.

With the majority of Rebel troops in Texas committed to pushing the front lines back into enemy territory, Imperial High Command has decided that the time is ripe for a surprise assault. As far as the Empire is concerned, the best defense is a good offense."
