Patrol Base BOLT BR47 BRSS

Stu goes over the BOLT BR47 Keymod BRSS AEG in this Patrol Base livestream. There are several versions of this AEG available at their store... "The replica is constructed mainly from Alloy, with an Alloy Hand guard, Receiver, Buffer Tube, Outer Barrel, and a Polymer Pistol Grip and Stock. The entire gun is wobble free, with a high quality finish. The free float hand-guard is CNC machined to perfect from aluminium giving the replica a high quality look and authentic feel.

The top of the replica features a full length 20mm RIS / RAS Rail, which is one of the most common types of attachment platform on the market today, meaning a huge variety of aftermarket sights, scopes and accessories can be fitted. The gun comes pre-fit with a set of Ironsights which can be removed to allow the attachment of large scopes, or left on as a backup sight if you're using a holographic or similar sighting system.

The gun features a KeyMod handguard, a very modern modular system for attaching parts and accessories, with plenty of options for customisation. KeyMod connection points are located on the sides of the replica and allow attachments at 45 degree angles as well as at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. The handguards come pre-fitted with a KeyMod to 20mm Rail for you to get started, as well as two handguard covers which can all be moved or removed if required. It is also supplied with a Polymer Handstop, which is proprietary to the underside of the handguard. An Alloy suppressor sits inside the end of the handguard, which can be removed to make use of the 14mm CCW thread underneath, for the installation of other muzzle devices (such as adding a Tracer Unit).

The RIF is a rear-wired design, and houses a Mini Tamiya connect at the rear of the stock. Due to the recoil system taking up most of the buffer tube, your battery will need to fit inside the enlarged butt pad at the rear of the stock, meaning you will need a relatively short LiPo. The stock and buffer plate feature QD sling sockets for the addition of quick-release sling loops.

The Bolt Recoil Shock System (or BRSS) is the beating heart of what makes these replicas awesome, and provides a heavy, weighted recoil when you pull the trigger. This gives the user a strong recoil effect without having to mess around with gas systems which can be unreliable. The replica features a reinforced Piston which actuates an ERG style recoil mechanism in the rear of the RIF, delivering a strong kick into your shoulder every time the replica cycles. This means you get to enjoy the joy of realistic recoil, with the benefits of high capacity magazines and consistent performance. Unlike traditional 'recoil systems' which simply move the dust cover backwards and forwards, this style of recoil involves a weighted piston moving around at the rear, which brings a whole new level of realism, and feels incredibly satisfying.

As usual the replica features an adjustable hop-up unit designed to add range and accuracy to the replica, and is fully adjustable to suit a range of BB weights and types.

This Airsoft recoil AEG is perfect for those who are looking for a new gun which has all the kick and fun of a gas blowback, but without the extensive maintenance, or for those who are looking to run a gun with recoil all year round without having to worry about the weather."
