Highlander Airsoft: Begadi HW17 Unboxing & Review

Highlander does an unboxing of the Begadi HW17/VFC MK17 S-AEG, an afforable SCAR-H AEG for the German airsoft market. This is what Begadi says about this product... "At the request of our customers, a cheaper version of the HW17 was added to the range in addition to the HW17 DeluXe - the Basic series offered here.

We left everything with the externals 1: 1 at the same level as the HW17 DeluXe - only the internals were adjusted.

For this we have chosen a slightly cheaper VFC shell - this is not ideal for tunings via M130, but it offers the option of retrofitting an upgrade Mosfet if this is desired (Gate Titan, Perun Optical etc.). Of course, an internal Mosfet is already installed, which bridges the switch contacts. It is delivered as shown or a technically comparable Mosfet (e.g. Jefftron Basic Internal). The other internals are suitable for the shell (8mm ball bearings, aluminum piston head, steel gears, spring guide with ball bearings, polycarbonate piston with 7 steel teeth) and form a solid, harmonious system that works "out of the box" without any problems.

However, we would like to point out that the internals including barrel, HopUp system etc. are qualitatively not comparable with those of the DeluXe version (which is also shown in the price difference of approx. 400 EUR). The HW17 Basic Edition is on the technical level of most other S-AEGs in the price range in which it is located."
