According to Public Enemy, after a wake-up call by Hong Kong Police in raids last week, airsoft shops in Hong Kong are now proactively going to test all gun orders that they meet local fps limits at below 2 joules or 465fps and if they don't meet such, they will then be downgraded (or replaced with one that meets the limits) before shipped out. If your country has lower fps limits, why not take the opportunity to have your order downgraded too as a free service?

The tested guns that will be released for shipment will come with a certification that it meets the legal requirements that will be attached to the invoince. A working group of shops and companies will work out further details to avoid any entanglements with local laws.
