Jaeger Precision has released a comprehensive guide to assist Silverback Airsoft MDR-X owners in upgrading their equipment using a manufacturer-provided kit. The kit includes a new bevel gear design that reduces strain on the battery, motor, and electronic control, and significantly decreases gearbox noise. It also features a new nozzle disconnection o-ring to address inconsistencies in the original production, enhancing feeding and durability.

The kit provides new nozzle and delayer springs for improved balance and better compatibility with third-party magazines. A new delayer screw is included to prevent potential interactions with the spring guide, and a new motor setting screw for easier adjustment and locking. The main control PCB (ETU) has been better insulated to prevent potential short circuit issues. The kit also introduces a new buttpad that allows direct access to the battery bay by simply pushing the back pin and removing the buttpad.

Additionally, a tool key for the cylinder head, BB tube, nozzle, and motor setting screw is provided, along with silicone/PTFE grease for the pneumatic assembly and lithium grease for the gear set and piston.

To top it off, the kit comes with a "MDRX happy gear" velcro patch.
