Luis's Workhorse Rifle Setup MWS M4 GBB

In a two-part video, Luis from 4UAD Smart Airsoft showcases his workhorse Tokyo Marui MWS airsoft rifle build. The first part details the external setup, beginning with the 14.5-inch barrel, steel four-prong flash hider, and Mark 16 rail system. He explains his choice of accessories, including a weapon light with pressure switch, BCM grip panels, and a BCM QD mount. Luis also highlights the non-rotating slots on the B5 stock, the original Marui Cerakote body, and steel components like the bolt release and a replacement trigger. He shares his experience with the MWS trigger, noting its mushiness, and details the installation of a real Magpul trigger guard, a 3D-printed mag well, modified Magpul mag assists, a Magpul K2 grip, a Stryker LPVO with backup iron sights, and the B5 Bravo stock, concluding with a gunsmithing tip.

The second part of the video focuses on the internal upgrades of the MWS M4 GBB rifle, retaining the original trigger box. Key modifications include the installation of a 150% Unicorn Airsoft hammer spring, a lightweight titanium bolt catch, a medium flow rocket valve, and a 370mm PDI 6.05mm inner barrel paired with a Laylax hop-up chamber, Friction Pro GBB bucking, flat nub, and an Iron Airsoft CNC aluminum hop-up adjustment dial. Testing with .36g BBs revealed an average output velocity of 99.1 m/s, equating to approximately 1.77 joules of energy, and the video demonstrates the rifle's accuracy with successful hits at distances up to 70 meters.
