One of our favourite illumination devices gets a third gen. Streamlight has launched the Sidewinder Compact III, a new, highly versatile flashlight designed for hands-free illumination. This multi-fuel device features a tilting head, helmet and gear mounting capabilities, and multiple LED sources, including white, red, green, and blue light options, depending on the model. It's engineered for flexibility and durability, offering powerful performance in a lightweight, compact form factor that can withstand rugged use.

The flashlight offers different models, including a user-configurable version that lets you choose two colored LEDs in addition to the standard white and infrared. It can be powered by either a single AA alkaline or a CR123A lithium battery, providing flexible power options and long run times. With a white LED output of up to 275 lumens, a robust compound switch designed for easy operation with gloves, and a scratch-resistant lens, the Sidewinder Compact III is built for reliability in demanding situations.
