Is this the ultimate HPA AK platform? That's the question Tactopia Airsoft sets out to answer in this video, a top-to-bottom technical unboxing of the brand new Wolverine Airsoft MTW AK-105. For years, he explains, fitting an HPA engine into a standard AEG AK body meant wrestling with nozzle tilt and feeding misalignment. Wolverine, he says, has finally cracked the so-called "AK Problem" by engineering the MTW AK-105 from scratch around a custom architecture, complete with a patent-pending intrinsic alignment system.
He then works through the rifle's external build quality, examining the stamped steel receiver, the CNC-machined trunnion, and its compatibility with LCT-spec furniture, before turning his attention to the electronics that really set this platform apart. Chief among them, he notes, is the proprietary detector board paired with Wolverine's BLINC Bluetooth FCU. He demonstrates how the simulated empty-magazine detection functions, with players required to physically rack the working charging handle in order to reset the shot counter.
Perhaps most intriguing is the technical loophole he uncovers within the programmable magazine capacity settings. By setting the magazine limit to a single BB via the BLINC app, he suggests, users could effectively lay the groundwork for a world-first true HPA bolt-action sniper build, one capable of complying with strict field capacity limits while still harnessing Wolverine's engineering.
