OLCMSS Responds To Accusations Of Sabotage

OptimusPrime

We now post the response of Operation Lion Claws Military Simulation Series (OLCMSS or Lion Claws) on the accusations of sabotage. This all stemmed from an accusation that Lion Claws' John Lu communicated with the MUTC painting Milsim West (MSW) in a bad light and causing the cancellation of Centurion Airsoft's Operation Condor 2016 which was supposed to be held this weekend.

Original story can be read here.

Also included here are emails furnished by OLCMSS about the following:

  1. Inquiry to validate whether or not an approved event had been cancelled, causing financial loss to any party involved.
  2. Centurion Airsoft's notification of non-approval of event, due to it being deemed "Too risky"
  3. General email containing EXROE, sent to all event organizers.

Here is the full statement:

The information provided herein, will serve as proof that the allegations made by Milsim West & Centurion Airsoft are nothing more than merit less attempts at slandering the Lion Claws brand, to elevate their positions amongst event organizers in the United States. The claims that their events have been cancelled due to John Lu sabotaging the site are erroneous for the simple fact that if an event has not been approved by the site in writing & added to the calendar, there was nothing to be cancelled.

Each event organizers proposal for events are evaluated on a case by case basis & must follow the guidelines described in the MUTC EXROE, by the respective personnel placed in care of that duty & are either approved or denied.

No events have been cancelled, delayed, postponed or have even made it past the approval phase for the months of April, May, June & July.

Attached you will find correspondence between John Lu of Best of USA marketing (Lion Claws) & the MUTC staff. You will also find communications between the MUTC, Bubba Moore & what appears to be a third party,  where the Mutc staff explain to them that the event was deemed "Too risky" for approval. They did NOT state that approval was denied for any other reason. The wording used by Mutc clearly states that John Lu had absolutely NO bearing on that decision. They also address the recipients of the email as "gentlemen", implying that more than one party was involved, and it would be a service to everyone who cares to make an informed decision, if that unknown person or persons involved could be identified (excluding Mutc staff). The date of the original email (which has been omitted by Mr. Moore) is also missing, along with the cc'd recipients email addresses. Mr. Bubba Moore should have the original email, & if he wishes to substantiate this claim, he should release it, proving that he has nothing to hide, & that this is not a concerted effort to defame the Lion Claws name.

Lion Claws has been a pillar in the airsoft community for more than a decade, & has built a well respected, reputable brand by maintaining standards that go above & beyond what is expected of military simulation & airsoft event organizers. Their dedication to helping the men & women of the armed forces, through charitable contributions has helped them stand tall amongst other organizations & maintain a positive image, in a hobby that is driven mostly by the self absorbed, whose sole purpose as organizers is for personal financial gain.

We are not obligated to anyone, other than ourselves & the players & are releasing this statement of our own accord to show that it is factual & in black & white for all to see. There is also plenty of information online that supports the fact that Milsim West had male players degrading female players at their event. Regardless of how innocent they make it seem, it does not deter from the fact that if a man willingly exposes himself in front of a woman supposedly to "urinate", it is STILL deemed as sexual harassment & can be punishable in a court of law. If an event organizer allows this type of behavior to go on, & dismisses the claim as coming from a dissatisfied customer & warrants no attention, then how far will they be willing to allow it go before taking action? Airsoft is NOT an all male activity, & it is the duty of the organizers to be sure that ALL the players safety is taken into account, regardless of gender.

Assuming that our communications with a location had anything to do with events from other organizers not moving forward, is inaccurate & the blame for any event failures should be placed directly on the organizers themselves, for poor management, not our wishes to help preserve the integrity of the hobby & special locations for everyones future use.

As always,

"Keep Airsoft Positive"
