Scorpion Camo Pattern Selected By U.S. Army

OptimusPrime

Soldier Systems Daily have been keenly following the selection of a new camo pattern for the U.S. Army to replace the much-derided UCP (Universal Camo Pattern) and just broke the news that the Crye Associates Scorpion Camo Pattern, which is considered to be a precursor to the Crye Precision Multicam Pattern, was chosen by the U.S. Army as the official camo pattern.

The Scorpion Pattern was developed by Crye Associates for the Objective Force Warrior Program of the US Army (also known as the Future Force Warrior or FFW). This means that this pattern is now 10 years old. Whilst many would mistake as the Multicam, it is not, but Multicam traces its roots to the Scorpion Pattern and the FFW.
