Star Airsoft Accessories announces that it is to release its own version of the FN SCAR, with the L and H versions at the same time. The H version has a different magazine and flash hider as compared to the L version. These have CNC upper receivers and nylon fiber housing, steel triggers,  and magazine release buttons on both sides.

The fire selector is also ambidextrous and shows a different knob than the the CA version. The bolt when pulled back shows the hop-up adjustment. What makes these SCAR offerings also unique from the other competitor models is that it has a built-in battery with no wires exposed when you fold the stock.

The SCAR has a QDB(?) system that allows you to change the barrel in 5 seconds, so they claim. This is very useful when you need an instant modification to your SCAR model and move into a FIBUA/CQB area.

Star is also releasing a 40mm grenade launcher module to compliment the SCAR models.
