Timerzanov Airsoft: Ares Mauser Karabiner Kar98K

Timerzanov Airsoft gives his take on the Ares Mauser Karabiner Kar98K rifle in this video review... "Hello everyone ! Today I offer you the review of a very nice replica. Here is the Mauser Kar98K from Ares! A replica of the famous German bolt-action rifle widely used during WWII. A replica in steel and real wood offered by the Hong Kong brand Ares, good or bad replica is what I invite you to see with me! Settle in and enjoy the video!

The Kar 98 is a German bolt-action rifle and is the evolution of the Gewehr 98 used during the First World War. This weapon works with a 4-stroke bolt, the supply is done by inserting the 7.92x57mm cartridges from above up to the number of 5, a magazine blade can help to reload faster. This weapon is little known in popular culture but remains famous among arms and/or history enthusiasts, particularly due to its massive use during the Second World War by the Wehrmacht. Around 15 million units were produced before the end of the war, nowadays it is still possible to find this rifle, classified in category C, it is now used by sports shooters or hunters at the same time being a piece of history.

For all collectors, history buffs, or players looking for a replica with a high level of realism, the Kar 98 produced by Ares is the replica you need! With its steel parts, the real wood stock and a weight identical to the real rifle, the realism of this replica is simply impressive. The magazine is tailored to resemble 7.92x57mm ammo, it inserts from below and holds up to 20 rounds. As on the weapon, strap loops are present on the stock and on the left of the barrel. At the front of the rifle there is engraved on the metal a false date of manufacture, 1940, always with the aim of increasing realism.

A big thank you to Airsoft Entrepot for lending me this replica."
