Today I offer you the review of the AR417 from Golden Eagle, a replica of the full metal HK417 and originally equipped with a small non-programmable mosfet. In short, a replica for fans of the HK417 who do not have a big budget that will fulfill this role perfectly.

The HK417 is a DMR rifle and which, very simplified, is a 416 chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. Its more powerful ammunition has a counterpart, that of having 20-round magazines against 30 for the 5.56x45mm NATO version. In France, the 417 is used by several intervention groups including the GIGN, replacing the FR F2, which is certainly reliable and precise but operates with a bolt action and has a lower capacity magazine. It can be seen appearing in many works of fiction such as the film Jurassic World, or the video games Battlefield 3, Payday 2 and Rainbow Six: Siege.
