The Gear Locker guys reviewed the Tyr Tactical Pack that I've been eyeing for sometime now... "The TYR Assaulters Sustainment Pack is not “cheap” and any way, and that includes the price.  At $199 it’s on the high end of 24 hour packs in its category, and that does make this a premium offering in a tough economy.  However, you do get a modular pack that works as well standalone as it does attached to an armor carrier, created with the new lightweight and durable PV material, and designed with the Direct Action crowd in mind.

Even with our small gripes on the zipper pulls and smaller shoulder pads strap length, we really found ourselves picking this pack up over and over again for our excursions both into the wilderness and the city. We’d recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a very durable, lightweight 24 hour pack that can easily corss the line from armor-born to city streets and back, and do both well."
