TM Updated Rossi PDW Review

TM goes over the updated Rossi PDW 5.5, a compact airsoft option that balances a lightweight polymer body with sturdy metal components like the handguard and flash hider. For those blessed with unusually long arms, the adjustable stock ensures a comfortable fit, while the folding sights stay out of the way until precision is actually required. It seems the designers wanted to make sure that even if you look like you’re carrying a toy, the build quality suggests otherwise.

A noticeable feature is the electronic trigger system, which includes a tiny adjustment screw to fine-tune sensitivity. This allows for a hair-trigger response, meaning you only need to give the trigger a gentle tickle to send a BB flying. It is a handy addition for players who prefer immediate results without having to put in much physical effort during a heated match.

During a quick performance test using 0.20g BBs and an 11.1v battery, the PDW showed impressive consistency, hovering steadily around 370 FPS. TM notes its accuracy straight out of the box, mentioning that it hasn't even had time to collect dust yet. Before wrapping up with some aesthetic modifications, there is a friendly reminder to always fire a clearing shot after removing the magazine—unless, of course, you enjoy accidentally surprising your teammates with a stray pellet.
