He holds numerous world records, including firing 12 shots from a revolver in under 3 seconds and hitting a 1000-yard target with a pistol. Beyond competing, Miculek is a gunsmith who tunes his own weapons and shares his passion through a YouTube channel and the show "Shootout Lane." He transitioned from a 15-year millwright career to professional shooting in 1989, and his wife and daughter are also accomplished competitive shooters.
