The Kansai Historical Management Secretariat hosted a World War II Event called "The Western Front" which was held last 21-22 March in Wakayama Prefecture. The setting is 1944 Europe where the Germans and Americans battle it out. They used airsoft guns for this event, so in terms of reenactment, it's not realistic but then it was also fun when they are able to skirmish with airsoft replicas rather than dummy rifles.
