Another guest piece at Airsoft Scoop as JM Fluckiger writes about PTSD which is a big problem amongst veterans of recent combat these days... "AirsoftScoop.com asked if I would write an article for them on the topic of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and I was happy to do so as it’s a topic I am quite familiar with. I just want to throw out some disclaimers though before I go ahead. While I do have a Master’s Degree, it is in Healthcare Administration so I am in no way an expert on the subject nor am I any kind of therapist or psychologist who specializes in the treatment of PTSD.

What I do have is a lot of personal experience with it through friends and family as well as my own issues with PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries and a bit of research time in on the subject so take it how you want. I guess the first thing is to define what PTSD which without making this too much like a term paper or another chapter of my thesis it can be basically defined as  a type of anxiety disorder. It can occur after you have gone through an extreme emotional or physical trauma that involved the threat of injury or death."
