It is based on the time proved Tokyo Marui M1911. The choice of building around a 1911 with its single-stack style magazine makes the weapons profile very slim making more comfortable to holster and handle than a Hicapa. Tokyo Marui M1911 magazines are not the highest capacity but with 26 rounds to work with that is still a generous volume of shots for a sidearm. With such slim magazines, carrying extras is an easier prospect than the giant double-stack style ones used by more modern pistol designs. There are even quad-magazine holsters that carry 1911 magazines double stacked which is still only ever so slightly bulkier then a double pouch hicapa holster. For someone with quick hands, a 1911s slightly diminished magazine size is more than made up for by its easier time carrying additional magazines.
