Airsoft Mike unboxes the Ares Amoeba AR308L Deluxe Bronze AEG for this episode. The deluxe version comes with accessories such as a Vortex-style illuminated scope, a QD suppressor, and two mid-cap magazines. 

He likes the rifle's exceptional external build quality and matte metallic bronze finish. Key features of the rifle include a "pro stock" with adjustable cheek riser and sling points, metal flip-up sights, an aesthetically pleasing receiver with a "snappy" fire selector, and a short-travel trigger for rapid single shots. The rifle is fully ambidextrous and features a generous handguard with a long top rail and a "floating effect" outer barrel. The hop-up is easily accessible when the charging handle is pulled back. Performance tests show the rifle is site-legal in the UK for CQB and averages around 18 rounds per second on full auto. 

Despite its heavy weight, Airsoft Mike intends to make it his new primary, noting the option to reprogram the gearbox for DMR-only mode and increase power.
