G&G Armament announced recently their first split gearbox design that can be found inside the G&G SGR556 AEG... "We are thrilled to announce that G&G has some exciting new airsoft products coming your way! The first of many new releases in 2023 will be the all-new SGR 556 AEG.

The SGR 556 will feature a full metal CNC-machined M-LOK rail and receiver with front and rear flip-up sights. Our latest GOS-V8 buttstock will provide ample battery space for big-capacity batteries.

Under the hood, the SGR 556 is a remarkable AEG that boasts our newest tech. First, it uses our newest G3 technology which comes with our very first split gearbox design. It has a true quick spring change and an easy quick change MOSFET module. New modules drop in for an easy replacement. The innovative hop-up chamber includes a built-in empty chamber power cut-off compatible it most airsoft M4 magazines. Additionally, it is adjusted in front of the gas block and even locks into the upper gearbox to improve compression.

Digging deeper into the gearbox is our new optical selector switch module. This feature allows an adjustable trigger to travel to one of 3 levels. This and an added pre-cocking mode can be programmed by the trigger or wireless programming remote control.
