The Hyperdouraku: Specna Arms SA-P28 Daniel Defense RIII Prime BLDC Aster II is available in Japan and Mister Moro of Hyperdouraku gets his hands one for a review. He says the model faithfully recreates the styling of Daniel Defense's latest-generation RIII series of AR-15 rifles, featuring a genuine 12.5-inch RIS III M-LOK handguard alongside a fully metal upper and lower receiver stamped with authentic markings. Inside, the rifle runs on GATE's ASTER II Bluetooth-enabled electronic trigger unit paired with a "Dark Matter" brushless motor, allowing owners to fine-tune pre-cocking, burst settings and trigger response through a companion smartphone app.

On the range, reviewers were struck by the responsiveness delivered by the electronic trigger and brushless motor combination, with pull weight coming in at roughly 200 grams and an optical sensor lending the trigger an exceptionally smooth, near-silky feel. Accuracy held up well too, grouping within a 25cm centre circle at 30 metres and remaining capable of hitting a torso-sized target at 40 metres. The rifle ships with two 125-round magazines as standard, runs on a 7.4V LiPo battery housed in the buffer tube, and offers a six-position telescoping crane-type stock for a comfortable cheek weld.

Measuring between 795mm and 878mm depending on stock extension and weighing 2,862 grams, the SA-P28 PRIME fires at an average muzzle velocity of 85.74 m/s (0.735 joules) with a cyclic rate of 932 rounds per minute. It went on sale in Japan in July 2026 at a list price of ¥68,000 excluding tax. According to the review, published in cooperation with LayLax and Tokyo Survival Game Park, the rifle's combination of rigid metal construction and refined out-of-the-box performance makes it a strong option for players seeking a high-performance AR-15-pattern AEG straight out of the box.
