The AK47 is an assault rifle representing the east side. And this year is the 100th anniversary of the late Michael Kalashnikov ’s birth. It is a symbolic gun in Russia, as there was news that local elementary school students were competing for disassembly and assembly of AK47 at a commemorative event at a museum in Moscow.
