"All and all, in my opinion, the Valken Hicapa is a solid gun that can definitely be upgraded with lots of parts if you are looking for something different and challenging. I just love the feel of the gun. The grip is comfortable and the frame has a nice solid feel and weight to it. The Valken website says the gun features a polymer frame, but it is actually made of a metal alloy.  Most of all, I just love how responsive the gun is with the stock sear spring. Every trigger pull is fast, clean, and reliable, which to me is really what counts the most when playing speedsoft style games. People will tell you all the time that its all about Tokyo Marui hicapas or the AW custom Hicapas that I literally see EVERYWHERE. I mean, I even have my TM Hicapa and WE Hicapa, but a great pistol is made by how much effort and care you put into it, not the brand. So if you want to get into gunsmithing, just buy whatever base gun you want and dont listen to the haters. As long as you put in the time and the work, your gun will perform well.
