Negative Airsoft's EMG/Cyma Barrett REC 10 Review

In this video, Luke from Negative Airsoft reviews his new EMG/Cyma Barrett REC 10. He admits to "drunk buying" the rifle without reading the description, only to find that the receiver and handguard are made of polymer rather than metal. Despite his initial disappointment with the materials and the price, he eventually accessorizes the gun and notes that it is sturdy and performs well.

The second half of the video shifts to a "horror show" teardown of a customer’s secondhand Evolution Airsoft rifle intended for a DMR build. As Luke opens the gun, he is shocked to find a series of bizarre and catastrophic issues, including toilet paper stuffed inside the pistol grip, corroded gears, and a 3D-printed stock tube.

Luke says that the internal components are in such poor condition they look as though they have been through a fire. He informs the owner that the rifle is essentially a lost cause and completely "fucked," recommending that it be thrown in the bin rather than repaired. He suggests starting over with a brand-new base gun instead of trying to save the damaged parts.
