The manufacturer claims it is the 'most powerful production revolver in the world today' (The Pfeifer Zeliska .600 Nitro Express revolver is more powerful but it is not a 'production' revolver). The real steel Model 500 can fire a bullet weighing 350 gr ( 22.7 g) at 1975 feet per second (602 m/s) generating a muzzle energy of over 3,030 foot-pounds force (4.1 kJ).

Though not so lethal of course, Tanakas Airsoft equivalent is proportional as intimidating with its massive size, long barrel and clocking in at around 385 fps on Top / Green gas out of the box giving it almost rifle power. Also, unlike the real revolver, its capacious internal helical storage can hold 11 BBs which is not a great deal but in a short range game a reduced capacity is only fair to bridle this power. For extra intimidation and effective shooting, the weapon has an accessory rail top to accommodate standard rail attach optics. Although the weapon only comes with basic iron sights, the high visibility coloring makes them effective at short range and if you do slap on a red dot sight then things might just get interesting."
