Yosser announced that high-capacity magazines for the Umarex HK417D AEG are now in the UK and will soon be available at retailers. They'll put the mags through the paces today, so we'll find out what they think about these very soon... "The magazines are very solid, made from a thick, quality polymer. The magazine has the same level of transparency as the G36 magazines or SIG magazines, allowing you to actually observe the number of BB's left and follow the BB's as they proceed up the feeding nozzle towards the top of the magazine and the hop.

If you drop the mag during a mag change we doubt you would crack or damage the magazine the quality is just that good. The magazine internals are very solid; we found one wind of the magazine will give you approximately 250 to 300 rounds in one burst. Two winds will empty the magazine of 500 rounds. Packaged in the usual high quality Umarex packaging, with full trades on the packaging."
