Airsoft Surgeon IPSC ENTRY Version I

OptimusPrime

For those who are getting their feet wet in airsoft IPSC may just want to check this entry level pistol made by the Airsoft Surgeon. Though the price may not exactly be entry level as it costs US$829.00 at RedWolf Airsoft... "Based on the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa, this Airsoft Surgeon piece is an entry level competition IPSC gun. For lack of a better term, it is pure distillate of race gun; everything you need and nothing you do not.

It is a Marui Hi-Capa 5.1; the slide and comp set lengthens the piece to typical open class fair with an inner barrel taking advantage of the 6 inch barrel length. Entry Version 1 uses a PDI 6.01mm Palsonite inner barrel where as the Version 2 uses a regular PDI 6.01mm inner barrel.

The upper frame and internals are otherwise stock as there is nothing wrong with them in terms of functionality. The slide runs smooth and the trigger pull has been lightened and tuned to a hair sensitivity. The magazine has an extended base and a flared magwell all making it easier and faster to reload in a hurry. A buffer has been placed in the action to shorten the stroke which reduces the cycle time increasing the rate of fire but also prevents the slide from locking to the rear.

Both Versions 1 and 2 are very similar but you can see the exact differences of the minor details in the product photos. Please do note that despite the minimalism, these pieces are still Airsoft Surgeon assembled and hand tuned to perfection. They are still premium performance top tier pistols and while they are still more expensive than normal GBB pistols they are clearly on the more budget friendly end of the race gun spectrum.

The pistol comes with a single magazine and no accessories; it comes in an Airsoft Surgeon range bag."
