Marushin Cz75 Dual Maxi Ver.2 Gas Blowback

OptimusPrime

An update on this shell-ejecting gas blowback pistol made by Marushin. If you want it, you can get at RedWolf Airsoft for US$193.00... "The real steel is a Czech origin weapon that was introduced in 1975 and was one of the famed wonder nines of the 20th century (9mm pistol with high capacity). The CZ75 and its variants have enjoyed extensive use around the world ever since.

This mode has a polymer body and frame and while this makes the weapon rather too light it works to its advantage when considering it runs only on HFC134a / Duster gas for low powered shots yet the slide cycles well and felt recoil is good due to the low mass of the model.

This gas blowback pistol features full semi-automatic action with a single-action trigger. BBs are individually loaded into each plastic shell with each shell feeding into the magazine much like the real steel. The real weapon has a capacity of 12 to 20 (depending on the caliber) which is why this pistols capacity of 9 rounds is a tad short. The Airsoft shell magazine needs to accommodate a gas reservoir and so can only single stack the shells for a lesser capacity then the real weapons double stack magazine.

On HFC134A / Duster gas it chronos in at around 230 FPS but more notably the light plastic shells are thrown out with significant velocity so keep an eye on where they land. The tenancy for this weapon to throw the shells far and wide explains why this 9 shell capacity weapon comes with more than 20 shells."
